About us


Born in the UK and raised in Montreal. He completed high school at West Island College, CEGEP at Marianopolis (Health Sciences) and a bachelor’s in computer engineering at McGill University.

He pursued his Islamic studies at Al-Ihsan Educational Foundation under the supervision of Mufti Aasim Rashid, then completed his final year at Darul Uloom Bury in the UK.

He has taught intermediate Islamic courses (iComp – Islam Comprehensive) for adults and mature students over the span of several years out of Al-Ihsan Education Foundation in Surrey, BC. He has also been teaching the ‘Aalimiyyah program to devoted students in Montreal for a few years.

Some of his students have gone on to complete their studies and have started their own initiatives.

Born and raised in Montreal. He completed hifz (memorization of the Holy Qur’an) at Makkah Masjid while completing his high school studies at PCHS.

He proceeded to study 7 years ‘Aalimiyyah program, which he completed at Darul Uloom Azaadville in South Africa. This program consists of studies in Arabic sciences of syntax, morphology, rhetoric; jurisprudence, principles of jurisprudence; hadith, principles of hadith; exegesis of the Quran, etc.

He has also taught for one year at Al-Hassanain madrassah in Indianapolis, then returned to his hometown of Montreal to take up the task of teaching and training future scholars who were studying locally.
